Huggens’s College was founded in 1844 as an Almshouse in Northfleet, Kent. The modern buildings include a Chapel, College Room, currently 30 units of accommodation and homes for two resident members of staff. (see www.huggenscollege.org)
The Directors are seeking to appoint an Anglican Priest, to be licensed by the Bishop of Rochester, to provide spiritual and pastoral care for College residents and to be responsible for the administration and day-to-day running of the community. The post is residential (a four-bedroom house is provided) and requires a dedicated person with sensitivity towards elderly people from a wide range of Christian traditions.
